Alan Jax Bowers is a drummer/percussionist/producer and owner of Mudcut South Studios in Englewood Florida (formerly in milford pa for over 16 years). He is Currently recording and touring with Grammy award winning producer/bassist Joe Ferry with Corey Glover on vocals. AJB HAS BEEN PLAYed WITH MEMBERS OF JIMMY BUFFETT'S CORAL REEFER BAND AND CLUB TRINI INCLUDING 10 TIME CMA MUSICIAN OF THE YEAR MAC MCANALLY, MICHAEL UTLEY, Nadirah Shakoor, ROBERT GREENIDGE, RALPH MACDONALD, JIM MAYER, DOYLE GRISHAM, TOM MITCHEL, John Lovell, GREG "FINGERS" TAYLOR, AND TINA GULLICKSON. ALAN HAS ALSO SHARED THE STAGE WITH EARTH WIND & FIRE, KENNY ROGERS, LONESTAR, AMERICAN IDOL'S BO BICE, KJ DENHERT, AND TRAVIS TRITT JUST TO NAME A FEW. He has been playing drums since the age of ten and has studied with some great players like the late great Ralph MacDonald, Will Calhoun, Karl Latham, Frank Katz, and the staff at Drummers Collective in New York City. His musical journeys bring him to Key West and St Barth regularly (returning to play the world famous Baz Bar this winter), Barbados, Hawaii, New Orleans, Las Vegas, Disney cruise line, Norwegian Cruise line, Virgin Atlantic cruise line, and beyond. Alan has shared recording credits with Leland Sklar, Brent Mason, Rich Redmond, Kenny Aronoff, and Abe Fogle to name a few.
